Message from attendees

The whole celebration that TAC organized was to promote resident's role in participation in various level of community decision-making processes. The organizers recognized resident board members that sit on various boards. Most of the time volunteering for Board of Directors can be a thankless job; but can be also very rewarding at the same time. Getting recognized for your efforts by your peers is a rewarding experience. Then inviting all the mayoral candidates to offer a chance to hear and see who will be on the November ballot further empowers us and offers a chance to interact with future civic leaders in our community. Then the organizers when far beyond what was necessary by garnering sponsors and soliciting door prizes to make the event a very special one for all who attended. Many thanks for all those who decided to attend, and special thanks for all of the volunteers who help make this a memorable celebration.
